KUWAIT: The issue of who is or is not granted Kuwaiti citizenship is once more attracting great interest, with news reports yesterday suggesting that non-Kuwaiti woman marrying Kuwaiti men will not henceforth be granted citizenship. Another report yesterday, meanwhile, indicated that Kuwaiti women who have been married to their non-Kuwaiti husbands for at least 20 years will be allowed to sponsor their husbands and children.
